CAPTAINS
Take your seat on the left. You’ll make the key flight decisions, and safety will be your top priority. You’ll be maintaining the highest standards from this seat and keeping our crew and passengers safe. The legroom’s pretty good, too.

You’ll already be working as a captain, and you have ambitions to fly higher in your career. You’ll also have plenty of orange spirit. That’s the stuff that makes us easyJet. Minimum requirements
Type-rated captains: at least 4,000 flying hours, with 1,000 PIC hours on the A320
Non-Type-Rated Captains: at least 4,000 flying hours with 1,000 PIC hours on jet aircraft over 30 MTOW
For our direct entry co-pilots and captains, assessment centers will take place in one of our training centers (London Gatwick or Milan). It will consist of both a technical (SIM) assessment and a non-technical assessment. We’ll send you all the details beforehand. Cadet assessment takes place online using Microsoft Teams.
We’ll review your application against the current requirements and screening criteria for the role. Remember to upload a CV that clearly details a breakdown of your aviation employment history and evidence of all the minimum entry criteria for the role.
You’ll also need to upload some additional documents, including a copy of your passport, medical, license, and logbook.
