Our flight attendants deliver authentic Hawaiian hospitality in everything they do, while ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. To join our team of exceptional flight attendants, you must be able to handle emergency situations and work in varying climatic conditions, turbulence, and cabin pressure. You may be required to stand for up to four to seventeen hours, during which time stooping, twisting, and pulling and pushing cabin equipment may be necessary.
Hawaiian Airlines requires the following qualifications:
Twenty-one years of age at the time of application
High school diploma, or GED equivalent; college degree preferred
Present a professional image. May not have visible body art (including tattoos), facial, multiple or upper ear piercings, gauge piercings, or extreme hair color or style while in uniform and while in any physical position in public areas.
Able to relocate within the state of Hawaii or the continental U.S.
Vertical reach of 82 inches
Language-qualified flight attendants
With our ever-growing routes, we continue to seek exceptional flight attendants who can speak our guests’ native language. Hawaiian Airlines is looking for multi-lingual flight attendants who speak English and either Japanese, Korean, French, or Samoan. Language-qualified speakers receive additional pay as well as the opportunity to travel to places where their second language is spoken. Language-qualified flight attendants must demonstrate the ability to speak and read the qualified language at a business level and be able to interpret announcements that are made in English.
