Job Summary:
Spirit Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Ticketing Agent Staff member in Canada. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service to passengers and ensuring a smooth ticketing process. The Ticketing Agent will handle various responsibilities, including ticket sales, reservations, and providing information on flight schedules and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Sales and Reservations:
Assist customers in purchasing tickets and making reservations. Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional service to passengers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance with travel-related questions.
Flight Information:
Inform passengers about flight schedules, delays, cancellations, and gate information. Ensure passengers are aware of any changes to their travel plans.
Check-in Procedures:
Assist passengers with the check-in process, including verifying travel documents and ensuring compliance with airline policies.
Handling Special Requests:
Manage special requests such as seat assignments, meal preferences, and accommodations for passengers with disabilities.
Payment Processing:
Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and travel vouchers. Ensure accurate processing of payments and issuance of receipts.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of transactions, reservations, and customer interactions. Ensure all data is entered into the system correctly.
Compliance:
Adhere to all Spirit Airlines policies and procedures, as well as local and international aviation regulations.
Problem Resolution:
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Escalate complex problems to supervisors when necessary.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless passenger experience. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in travel, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service or ticketing role within the airline industry is preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. Proficiency in using computer reservation systems and other relevant software.
Language:
Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are an asset.
Availability:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per operational requirements.
