About the Role:

As an Operations Manager at Pasifika Air, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our airline, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the airline, including flight schedules, crew management, and aircraft maintenance.
Ensure that all operations comply with aviation regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with various departments, including flight operations, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.

Staff Management:

Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff members, including pilots, maintenance engineers, and customer service representatives.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans to enhance staff skills and performance.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage shift schedules to meet operational needs.

Safety and Compliance:

Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, and address any issues or non-compliances promptly.
Stay updated on changes in aviation regulations and ensure that the airline adheres to these regulations.

Operational Efficiency:

Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Implement and oversee new processes and technologies to enhance operational performance.

Customer Experience:

Ensure that all aspects of the customer experience meet the airline’s standards of service quality.
Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work closely with the customer service team to enhance the overall passenger experience.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute operational plans to achieve the airline’s strategic objectives.
Collaborate with senior management to set goals and targets for operational performance.
Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven experience in airline operations management or a similar role.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a diverse team.
Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
