Job Description:
As a Flight Scheduler at Alliance Airlines, you will be responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of flight schedules to ensure optimal utilization of aircraft and crew. This role is critical in maintaining the smooth operation of our flight services and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage flight schedules to optimize aircraft and crew utilization.
Coordinate with various departments, including operations, maintenance, and customer service, to ensure seamless scheduling processes.
Monitor and adjust flight schedules in response to operational needs, including delays, cancellations, and unscheduled maintenance.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight schedules, crew rosters, and aircraft availability.
Communicate effectively with flight crews, ground staff, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of scheduling plans and changes.
Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to flight scheduling and operations.
Participate in regular briefings and meetings to discuss scheduling issues and improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in flight scheduling or a similar role in the aviation industry.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant computer applications.
