Position Overview:

Qatar Airways is seeking a skilled Turnaround Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Hamad International Airport in Doha. As a Turnaround Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely aircraft turnaround operations, maintaining high standards of safety, punctuality, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between ground handling teams, flight crew, and relevant airport authorities to ensure smooth aircraft turnaround processes.
Operational Oversight:
Monitor all aspects of the aircraft turnaround process, including passenger and cargo handling, catering, refueling, and maintenance activities, to ensure adherence to turnaround timelines and safety protocols.
Problem Resolution:
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues that may impact aircraft turnaround times or safety standards, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures throughout the turnaround process, prioritizing the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze turnaround performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of turnaround activities, prepare comprehensive reports on operational performance, and contribute to post-turnaround debriefings to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in aircraft ground operations, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role within the aviation industry.
Strong understanding of aircraft turnaround processes, safety regulations, and operational best practices.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with aviation industry software and systems.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
