Job Description:
As an Operations Manager at TUI Airways, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and smooth airline services. You will be responsible for managing a team of operational staff, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Manage and coordinate all operational activities, including flight dispatch, ground handling, crew scheduling, and resource allocation.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to aviation regulations, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe operating environment.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a diverse team of operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Performance Management:
Monitor operational performance metrics, analyze data, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Customer Service Excellence:
Collaborate with customer service teams to enhance passenger experience and resolve operational issues promptly.
Emergency Response:
Develop and implement contingency plans for operational disruptions and emergencies, ensuring swift and effective response.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in airline operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of aviation regulations (EASA regulations preferred) and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational environments.
Proficiency in airline operations software and MS Office Suite.
