Job Description:
As the HR Manager at Jetstar Airways in New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of human resources operations within the airline. You will collaborate closely with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with Jetstar's overall objectives and ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR policy formulation. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.

Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent.

Ensure compliance with labor regulations and employment laws.
Lead HR projects and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.
Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role within the aviation industry or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
Experience in managing and developing HR teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
