Virgin Atlantic is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for the role of Resourcing Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in leading the digital transformation resourcing and hiring processes, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience (EVP) that aligns with strategic goals.

As the Resourcing Operations Manager, you will lead a data-informed recruitment team, leveraging demand planning, analysis, and insights to continuously improve our effectiveness. Collaborating closely with the Recruitment Leadership Team and our Recruiters, you will use credible, industry-leading metrics to shape and enhance individual and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Training and Development: Deliver industry-leading training for recruiters and line managers to promote inclusive, diverse, and unbiased hiring practices.
Process Overhaul: Lead the revamp of our resourcing processes, integrating new digital platforms like Oracle and Avature to enhance the experience for recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers.
Brand Consistency: Embed Virgin Atlantic's (VA) Tone of Voice throughout the candidate journey, from job advertisements to onboarding, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
Strategic Influence: Utilize VA's brand assets, resources, and business infrastructure to drive and lead strategic changes within resourcing and employer branding. Challenge established norms to evolve our EVP and EB.
Social Media Presence: Enhance our social media presence through SEO/PPC strategies, using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to optimize job visibility and attract top talent.
Psychometric Profiling: Manage relationships with psychometric profiling assessment suppliers, ensuring a strong return on investment and a positive candidate experience.
Autonomous Hiring: Develop and deploy an autonomous, self-serve hiring manager capability through digital platforms, equipped with up-to-date collateral and on-demand recruitment training tools.
Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities align with legal requirements, including Right to Work, GDPR, and aviation employment regulations.
Leadership: Act as a trusted leader, guiding and inspiring the Resourcing team. Foster a strong and empowered culture where colleagues thrive in an inclusive and diverse environment.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in leading world-class in-house resourcing processes and frameworks, capable of delivering excellence through teams, including both volume and corporate function hiring globally. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in resourcing and recruitment operations, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong understanding of digital transformation in recruitment, including familiarity with ATS platforms like Oracle Fusion and Avature.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions. Intermediate Excel knowledge (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) is essential.
Experience in delivering transformational change in complex environments.
Expertise in compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver training programs.
Experience or understanding of digital marketing strategies and EVP/EB propositions to enhance recruitment efforts.
Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
