Overview:
Flydubai, a leading low-cost airline based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of flight operations at our United Kingdom base. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Manage day-to-day flight operations, ensuring adherence to schedule, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of operational staff, including pilots, ground crew, and operational support personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to aviation safety standards, company policies, and regulatory guidelines, conducting regular audits and assessments.
Resource Management:
Optimize resource allocation, including aircraft utilization, crew scheduling, and ground handling services, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor operational performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Emergency Response:
Coordinate and oversee emergency response procedures, ensuring swift and effective responses to operational disruptions or crises.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in airline operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of aviation regulations (CAA/EASA) and industry best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
