Job Description:

Delta Air Lines is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Ground Operations team. As a Ground Operations Staff member, you will be integral to ensuring smooth and efficient airport operations, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Baggage Handling: 

Efficiently load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft. Ensure all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations.

Aircraft Servicing: 

Assist with aircraft refueling, towing, and repositioning. Perform safety checks and inspections to ensure aircraft are ready for departure.

Passenger Services: 

Provide exceptional customer service to passengers during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation processes. Assist passengers with special needs and ensure a positive travel experience.

Ramp Operations: 

Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure. Direct pilots to and from gates and ensure that all ramp operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

Safety and Compliance: 

Follow all safety and security protocols, including conducting aircraft safety checks and ensuring compliance with airport regulations and Delta Air Lines policies.

Team Collaboration: 

Work closely with fellow ground operations staff, flight crews, and airport personnel to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in ground handling or airport operations is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, as well as work outdoors in various weather conditions.
