Overview:
flydubai is seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and servicing ground support equipment critical to our airline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of ground support equipment, including tugs, baggage carts, ground power units, and air conditioning units.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and implement effective solutions.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to procure necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance.
Adhere to strict safety protocols, operational standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a GSE Technician or similar role in the aviation industry.
Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of aviation ground support equipment operations and maintenance practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., GSE Technician certification) preferred.
