Jetstar Airways is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Flight Attendants. This role involves ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while delivering exceptional service. As a Flight Attendant at Jetstar Airways, you will be an ambassador for the airline, contributing to a positive travel experience for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Procedures:

Perform pre-flight safety checks to ensure all safety equipment is operational.

Conduct safety briefings and demonstrate emergency procedures to passengers.

Manage in-flight emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

Customer Service:

Greet passengers as they board and assist with seating and storage of carry-on luggage.

Serve meals, beverages, and snacks during the flight.

Address passenger inquiries and provide assistance with special needs or requests.

Communication:

Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure smooth operations.

Keep passengers informed about flight details, delays, and any other relevant information.

Post-Flight Duties:

Complete flight reports and log any incidents.

Ensure the cabin is clean and secure upon arrival.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Experience:

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

Language:

Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform physical tasks.

Certifications:

Valid passport and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Successful completion of Jetstar Airways’ Flight Attendant training program.

Working Conditions:

Schedule:

Flexible working hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Ability to work on short notice and handle overnight stays.

Extensive travel, primarily within the Asia-Pacific region.
